New Times Development was founded by 2 veterans in the field with more than 20 years of experience.

Datuk Lau Chin An, Dip. RSH (London); LL.B (Hons), Wolver Hampton, U.K.; Certificate in Legal Practice is also the Managing Director of New Times Development Sdn. Bhd.

Datuk Lau has served the Ministry of Health as a Chief Environmental Health Officer. During his tenure with the Government, he had served in various capacities and also sat in various committees in the furtherance and promotion of Public Health, particularly in the field of Environmental Health. Among others, his work involved in the vetting and approval of planning and building plans, site inspection, progress inspection, testing & commission of sanitary and sewerage system, interpretation of building & construction laws and also the issuance of Certificate of Occupation for completed buildings.

 

Datuk Lau has more than 20 years experience in housing development. He was with TS Law Holding Sdn. Bhd. before and was the Managing Director of LTS (M) Properties Sdn. Bhd. and LTS Capital Sdn. Bhd.

 

Amongst others he had successfully completed the following projects during his tenure with LTS Properties.

 

Mr. Wong Ching Fah who is the Managing Director of MERGER INSIGHT (M) SDN. BHD. (With a total staff strength of fifteen (15) administrative staffs and more than three hundred (300) construction workers. Equipped with it’s own plants, machineries and tools to run the on-going construction works.)

 

He has overall 38 years experience in the construction industry. He has started as a store keeper and slowly worked his way up to be a construction site supervisor. With his vast experience gained from handling and building up residential and commercial projects (both mid-high rise and low rise), Mr. Wong set up this company and slowly expanded the business from a small timer in the construction industry and it has evolved into a well-established set up as of to date.

At present he is the Managing Director in New Times Development in charge of the overall operations of the company.
